Yamato - 大和

A shipgirl stationed at the Truk Lagoon forward base during Operation FS, said to be the most powerful battleship ever built. She's also a great chef, serving luxurious home-cooked meals to Fubuki and friends upon their meeting. However, she rarely sees any real action - much to Fubuki's disappointment - as her firepower is deemed excessive and she's said to use up too many resources (including food, as she also possesses a tremendous appetite, comparable to Akagi's) for Admiral to consider deploying her more frequently. As a result, her existence is largely kept secret. Her namesake is the Japanese battleship [Yamato](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_battleship_Yamato) and her sister ship is Musashi.
