Kanae Katagiri - 片桐叶絵

__Height:__ 162 cm Kanae Katagiri was a Gemischt (Mixed-Blooded) Quincy and a former maid in the service of Ishida family. As a loyal maid, Katagiri is a very polite and well-mannered person. She addresses [Ryuuken Ishida](https://anilist.co/character/1083/Ishida-Ryuuken) as "young master" and patiently listens to his thoughts and problems. She's aware of the responsibilities which weigh on Ryuuken's shoulders as an Echt (Pure-Blooded) Quincy and she's always ready to offer him advice. She is very attached to Ryuuken, being his protector, and she can't bear to see him sad. ~!She would later become the wife of Ryuuken Ishida and she eventually gave birth to [Uryuu Ishida](https://anilist.co/character/564/Ishida-Uryuu). Nine years ago, on June 17, Katagiri lost consciousness and died three months later, since [Yhwach](https://anilist.co/character/68537/Yhwach) performed Auswahlen (Holy Selection), and took the power of every Gemischt Quincy to make their powers his own.!~
